The new CAP1131 V5.2.1460 is now available and it will be possible to download it from our homepage. The following new functions are integrated:

Expansions

• SourceSafe link
  The CAP1131 projects can be put under SourceSafe management. Each program organization unit (POU) can be checking in and out individually.
• Multiple writing
  Creates a warning when the same global variable is written to several times within a POU or the entire project. The warning can be switched on or off for a specific project in the options.
• Copying networks across projects
  Networks can be copied directly between two open CAP1131 instances.
• Group view in the POU pool
  The POUs of a project can be grouped and displayed accordingly.
• Creating user libraries
  Individual POUs from a CAP1131 project can be grouped together into a user library. The user library generated in this way can have a version assigned to it, which cannot be changed.
• Data logger
  The size of the memory area reserved for the data logger on the CPU can be set in the CAP1131 parameters. No user library modules have to be used for the data logger any longer in the application.
  

Improvements

• Line numbering in C and ST editor
  Display of line numbering in C and ST editor with parameter setting options.
• Project pack
  The files to be packed can be selected.
• Reorganize database
  Inconsistent data is removed from the database.
• Commentary on global variables
  Changes to the commentary field of the global variables (GVL, PLC Config) are automatically updated in all headers.
• Labels with 16 characters
  Labels can now be entered with 16 characters.
• Print options
  The print options are now stored for a specific project.
• Print
  Page margins are displayed during editing in the FBD and LD editor. In multi-page printouts, split lines are provided with labels.
• Fonts
  All the fonts available in CAP1131 V4.3.1 are once again available in the graphic editors.
• Tool tip
  If the mouse pointer is moved over a variable, the commentary for this variable is displayed automatically.
• Change DUT member name
  If a member name of a DUT is changed, the change is applied across the entire project.
• Security levels
  Security levels can be assigned hierarchically. On the lower hierarchy levels, it is only possible to assign correspondingly higher security levels to individual POUs.
