    2020 is once again the year of InnoTrans. Selectron is also taking part once again. Of course, we are not allowed to tell you yet what our booth will look like. We can reveal one thing, though: This year, we will be represented for the first time with our parent company Knorr-Bremse in Hall 1.2 (Railway Technology segment), booth 250.

    First CPU 94x Devices in Customer's Hands for Tests – The Powerful Controller for the Next-Generation TCMS

    The first prototypes of the new CPU generation have been with our customers since mid-August. In parallel to development word at Selectron, the pilot customer is working on integration into a first vehicle.
    With the powerful and flexible SCPU 941-TW, SIL 0 and SIL 2 software applications can be used on one and the same hardware for the first time without retroactive effects.

    In connection with the 4th Railway Package, the EC Declaration of Conformity of Interoperability Constituent wheel slide protection system "WSP800 V04" has been revised and is now available in the database of the European Approval Body ERA.
    Furthermore, the EC certificate for the approval of the quality management system "WSP800 V04" has been renewed and is therefore valid for another two years.

    Caltrain USA orders Stadler double-decker multiple-unit trains with Selectron control technology

    At its new plant in Salt Lake City, Stadler is building a total of 19 seven-car electric double-decker multiple-unit trains of the KISS type for the American railway company, Caltrain.
    Selectron is supplying the TCMS for the vehicles, which is being produced in the USA in accordance with the Buy America Act (BAA).

    Since March 2019, the Istanbul T5 line along the Golden Horn between Eminönü and Alibeyköy Cep Otogari is operated with new trams designed and manufactured by DURMAZLAR in Turkey. Selectron’s compact TCMS controls the vehicles – achieving ultimate availability.

    The MAS 73x/83x node module portfolio is being rounded off with MVB (Multifunctional Vehicle Bus) variants. Two voltage variants are available for each of the two media, ESD+ (Electrical Short Distance) and EMD (Electrical Middle Distance). Together with the MVB1131 V3 configuration tool, they enable the smooth integration of an MVB node into the Selectron TCMS.

    As part of the product portfolio expansion, the MAS 73x/83x product family has been extended to include an analog input module for safety-related applications. Development of the AIT 735-T/I/SIL is almost complete and will soon be certified for SIL 2.
