Your Apprenticeship At Selectron – The Ideal Entry Into The Professional World

We train new talents with passion and offer apprenticeship placements every year as an electronics technician EFZ. In addition to a basic training at the Vocational Education Center, you will be guided and supported on the job by dedicated practical trainers.

Your Responsibilities: As an electronics technician at Selectron Systems AG, you will work on electronic solutions for public transportation and safety-critical systems. You develop electronic circuits and printed circuit boards, carry out measurements and tests, and program software for control and communication systems that are used in the day-to-day operation of rail, bus, and transport infrastructures.

Requirements to Start the Apprenticeship: Lower secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss) with 10th school year or secondary education diploma

• Interest in electronics and technology
• Good performance in mathematics
• Logical and abstract thinking skills
• Careful and precise working style
• Enthusiasm for experimenting and hands-on problem solving
• Ability to work in a team and reliability

Duration of Training: 4 years

Training Structure:

• 18 months basic electronics training year at Bbc Bern
• Followed by vocational school at GIBB Bern, 1.5 to 2 days per week
