We are pleased about our first joint commercial success: an order from Cummins Australia for 40 control units that will be used in traction control systems for Alstom VLocity trains. This project is far more than a single order – it shows how pooled expertise and close collaboration accelerate innovation and create added value for our customers.
The successful implementation illustrates how teams from Selectron and duagon are already working together effectively. Through open communication, technical know-how, and a shared understanding of customer requirements, potential was quickly translated into tangible results. Contributions from both organizations underline the strength of this collaboration and the positive start of our joint journey.
With the integration of duagon into the Knorr-Bremse Group, we are deliberately expanding our electronics and digital portfolio and laying the foundation for integrated solutions across the entire rail system. The combined expertise of around 1,000 electronics and software experts across the Knorr-Bremse Group enables us to cover an even broader range of applications in the field of computing & communication – from embedded computing and control to communication, safety, and cybersecurity systems.
This first joint success marks the beginning of a strong partnership that brings us closer to our customers and strengthens our ability to support them worldwide – locally rooted and globally connected.
Looking ahead, it is clear: this is only the beginning. There are many further opportunities we look forward to and will offer our customers in the future – as a contribution to innovative solutions for the mobility of tomorrow.
